By joining one of the Chamber’s many committees, you'll maximize your membership investment and expand your networking opportunities.  In addition, involvement in one of the many non-profit organizations in the region will help you play an active role in supporting and enriching our community.  Some of the Chamber committees you might consider include:

Victorian Stroll Committee
The Victorian Stroll Committee plans the annual event, held the first Sunday of December, and meets as early as August to being its work. Members are involved with planning all aspects of this popular event. 

Program Committee
The Program Committee initiates and coordinates Chamber programs, including Chamber Monthly Breakfasts, Networking Events, Business Education Series Workshops, the Chamber Annual Dinner & Business Expo, the Van Rensselaer Awards Dinner, the Annual Golf Classic, Member Orientations, Business After Hours, and much more. The Committee also oversees The Leadership Institute, the Chamber's skills-based leadership program for emerging leaders in the community.

Ambassador Committee
Ambassadors actively assist members in getting involved and utilizing Chamber benefits and are responsible for greeting and facilitating networking among members at various Chamber events. The committee maintains regular contact with members, identifying concerns to help the Chamber retain membership and support.

Economic and Government Affairs Committee (EGAC)
The Economic and Government Affairs Committee organizes the Chamber's involvement in issues that impact state and local economic development and public policy. Members also coordinate the Chamber's civic advocacy role and activities.

Golf Classic Committee
The Chamber's Golf Classic is held annually at the end of August and is always a sell-out event. Committee members are involved in various aspects of event planning, sponsorship and more.
