Paul Buehler will use his experience and expertise to give an engaging speech on Labor and Employment Law Updates. After the presentation, we will turn the floor over to our attendees for a Q and A. This a great event for employers and employees who are interested in learning more about the recently updated workplace laws.

About Paul

Paul J. Buehler III represents clients in a variety of complex labor and employment matters, in federal and state court, and before various administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State Division of Human Rights, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and National Labor Relations Board. He has successfully litigated numerous cases involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, unfair labor practices, and wage and hour issues. Paul regularly counsel's businesses regarding workplace policies, reasonable accommodations and leaves of absence, employee discipline, workplace investigations, employee compensation, and labor relations. He has been recognized for his accomplishments, including being named a Super Lawyers Rising Star and Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch, and was a 2024 Albany Business Review 40 under 40 honoree.

About the Presentation: Labor and Employment Law Update

This session will cover an overview of significant developments in labor and employment law over the last 12 months that every employer should know. With a focus on practical guidance, this session will address the impact of recent executive orders, new guidance on DEI in the workplace, updates including pay for manual workers, minimum wage updates, the end of COVID-19 paid leave, paid prenatal leave, new independent contractor rules, updates from the New York State budget, and more.
