Privacy Policy

This privacy policy covers the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter “The CHAMBER”) treatment of personally identifiable information that we collect when you are on our site, and when you use our network, servers or services. This policy also applies to The CHAMBER’S treatment of any personally identifiable information that our business partners share with us. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to people that we do not employ or manage.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

The CHAMBER may collect personally identifiable information when you visit or use our pages. The CHAMBER’S use of this information may be for purposes including: to customize the content you see, to fulfill your requests for certain services and information, and to contact you.

Google Analytics: Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.

  • We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
  • We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process; or
  • We find that your actions on our web site(s) violate The CHAMBER’S Terms and Conditions of Use, any other policy of The CHAMBER or any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.
