Berlin Central School District is a small, rural public school district located in eastern Rensselaer County, approximately 25 miles east of Albany, N.Y. It serves about 730 school children in two school buildings – Berlin Elementary School and Berlin Middle/High School. The district includes five towns: Berlin, Grafton, Petersburgh, Poestenkill and Stephentown. Our school district population is approximately 6,800 residents. Schodack CSD is a rural public school district educating nearly 900 students K-12. Our High School is a National Blue Ribbon School and has had the highest graduation rate in the Capital Region for the past two years.
