Exciting News at MicroKnowledge

For more than 35 years, MicroKnowledge has provided high quality training, consulting, and documentation services to customers across the Capital Region and throughout the state, and we are still going strong. Earlier this year, my co-owner Lisa Ryan and I decided it was time for us to step away from the daily operations of the company and play a different role in its continued success. That led us to where we are today, having formed a partnership with Logical Operations/New Horizons to run the day-to-day operations at MicroKnowledge. From your perspective as a client, not much will change.

What is staying the same

MicroKnowledge classes will remain the same as we continue to offer the same great training we have for the past 35 years. In fact, this partnership will give us the ability to offer even more training for your employees.

Our trainers will be familiar to you. Lisa will continue to train her favorite classes: SQL, data analytics, Excel, Access, and anything database related. Eleonora Morrell will still be your go to expert for all Adobe and web training and of course her specialty of accessibility to ensure your documents are compliant with regulations. John Dowley will team up with Eleonora and deliver all the Albany Guardian Society sessions designed for seniors.

Nancy LaPietro will remain your customer contact as she has been for the past 30 years. She will be collaborating with Joe Mignano on the Logical Operations team to ensure you have the best class and all your training needs are met.

What is changing

Our invoicing will look a little different and how you make payments will change somewhat, but you will receive clear instructions on both. Also, our in-person classes will now be conducted at the New Horizons offices at 2 Computer Drive West in Albany. You should direct your employees to look for MicroKnowledge signage when they return to in-person sessions at the training center.

In closing, please understand that I am still involved with MicroKnowledge as an owner and will remain in the community advocating for the causes and organizations that are near and dear to me. As I step away from the daily operations of the company, I am confident that MicroKnowledge will be in good hands with Joe Mignano and the MicroKnowledge team.

I have enjoyed working with you and hope you will continue to look to MicroKnowledge for all your training needs
