Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York Appoints New Director of Product Program and Retail



Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York (GSNENY) recently promoted Melanie Collier to Director of Product Program and Retail.

In her new role, Collier is responsible for all aspects of the GSNENY Fall Product Program, Cookie Program and retail operations. She is also responsible for planning projections, developing budgets and goals, managing the Product Program team, collaborating with other departments, and working with volunteers to make the Product Program a success. 

Collier brings seven years of experience of working for GSNENY with her to this position. She started as the membership recruiter in 2016 and was then promoted to the product program retail specialist in 2019. As the product program retail specialist, she was responsible for supporting the Product Program volunteers, overseeing the Fall Sweets & Treats program, assisting with retail operations, assisting with all aspects of the cookie program, and forecasting and delivering projected revenue and participation for the fall product program. Prior to joining GSNENY in 2016, Collier worked in advertising for many years.

She attended Adirondack Community College for Business. Collier resides in Queensbury and has two grown children.
