Berkshire Bach announces FREE annual Messiah Sing-Along on November 30 at First Congregational Church in Great Barrington



Great Barrington, November 19, 2024:  Calling all singers!  The Berkshire Bach Society (BBS) hosts its annual Messiah Sing-Along at the First Congregational Church in Great Barrington on November 30, 4pm. Choral conductor James Bagwell returns to  lead the audience in favorite choruses from Handel’s beloved oratorioincluding Hallelujah!--accompanied by the Berkshire Bach PlayersThe event is FREE.

 

“Berkshire Bach is pleased to host our annual Messiah Sing-Along on the Saturday after Thanksgiving,” said Terrill McDade, Executive Director of The Berkshire Bach Society.  “This is a FREE event, our gift to the community, and a wonderful opportunity for people to come together, raise their voices, and glory in the beauty of Baroque choral music.”

 

Bring your own score, buy or borrow one from Berkshire Bach, and start the holiday season with a joyous event that is a Berkshire Bach tradition. 

 

The Berkshire Bach Society is a 501©(3) nonprofit organization under the U.S. tax code and the oldest, continuously operating, membership-based music organization in the Berkshires.  Donations to the Society are deductible to the full extent of the law.
