Press Conference 10 AM Thurs. Feb. 6 to Announce Launch of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Tech Startup Business Accelerator, Major Support by Rensselaer County
WHAT: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) is joining with Rensselaer County in launching a business accelerator to be based at the Quackenbush Building in downtown Troy, N.Y.
The RPI accelerator supported by Rensselaer County will support technology startups in the Capital Region with a resident incubation ecosystem and an intensive accelerator program. Rensselaer County’s 2025 budget allocated $8 million for the project. The Rensselaer County Industrial Development Agency owns the Quackenbush Building.
